I have finished reading my novel. I bought it last month. I have got 20 % discount. I thought I wouldn’t get the discount. I went to the famous bookstore in town, but I was disappointed because the discount was not like I imagined before.My first book titled The Old Man and The Sea by Ernest Hemingway. Ernest is one of the most famous authors in the world. That made me want to read his book.
The story began there’s an old man who lives nearby the sea. This old man was a fisherman. He seldom went sailing with his young companion. One busy day, he went sailing, but this time he went alone. When he was in the middle of the sea, his successfully caught a fish. It was a big fish as he took more than two days to tame. The story tells about his struggle with keeping his catch, how he survives in the sea just accompanied by the catching fish. His struggle to defend himself against some wild shark eating his part of fish, and his struggle inside himself.
The cover said, that it is the best seller book. During my reading, I was wondering why this book is considered such a masterpiece? I thought the story is just an ordinary story nothing odd. One makes me amazed is the author can make a lot of writing, stories only simply from a simple thing occurred. One life day moment but the story still goes round and round.
