Hmmm, akhirnya saya mendapat kesempatan buat mengunjungi Keraton Mangkunegaran lagi, dan kali ni gratiss tis truss bisa masuk keliling kraton dahhh. And how dit it happen? Okeeyy, the story begun last august. I had a chance to be tour guide franchopone. My French guest wanted to know what Mangkunegaran Palace looks like. Actually there was no schedule to visit this palace, it was out of the program. Started from Jogja on the way to go to Malang, East Java, we stopped for a while in Solo. Of course Mangkunegaran directly. Had arrived at this palace, my guests were bit surprise, hmmm maybe demanding, because there was a big stage and many chairs around in front of the palace. Seems there was a festival, musical event or some kind like that. After asking and demanding, and of vcourse from the baliho that we’ve seen, we knew that there was international music festival, which was participated by more than twenty countries around the world (if i’m not mistaken, based on many flags on the baliho).
Well, i entered the front table, and several strudents, i guess, they,”faire du stage” or PKL students. After writing the guest book,(remember when I came to this palace for the first time, since I didn’t make any reports to guest book, me and my cousin were not allowed to take the tourr, hahhhha) one of them ask me, how many tourist with me, and which country do they come from. I said, they were four, and from French that I decided to ask them the French guide for accompanying us while we were taking the tour of the palace. They said, wooow “wahh mbaa, guide prancisnya belum dateng tuh, gimana? Klo guide inggris mau ga?” yupzz, we arrived to early maybe, for about 9 o’clock or more. Yahhh, I was thinking what should I do, me don’t really know better about this palace., well I said to the student, “ok, ga papa lah pake inggris, or indonesia aja , ntar tak coba nerjemahin ke prancis” and finally I’ve got a students with us. She ‘s good guide i think, she explain each part of the palace in bahasa and I try to translate it in to French. Beginning to enter the main building called “pendapa” a building, wit a large floor. But before we entered to the “pendapa” the guide give us each person a black plastick bag. She said it would be used to put our shoes or sandal; we had to put out our shoes before taking the tour. Okeeyyy lanjuut, after “pendapa” we entered to a room, where many Mangkunegaran collections were kept. Such as, dances equipment, the cloths, the masks, silver collections, etc. Okeyy, after that, room by room, we entered, and then it end. Me went to the front office, i paid the ticket (Rp.40 thousands for four person, me were not counted of course, and it means, I did it, gratuitement...finally,). After that, we continue our journey to east java...
